Like I said before in, I think my first blog entry, I am active duty military. I have been in the military for 13 years. Well, every 6 months every Soldier must complete and pass a pt test. After a pt test you have to be measured by height and weight. You have be within your weight limit or if you're over then you have to taped (measured body fat). The month was February when after a diagnostic pt I realized I was overweight and I did not pass tape. Thank God I had did this on my own because if I had not then I would have been put on what we call the "fat boy program" in my case the fat girl program. And at this point in my career if that happens then I can kiss any chance of getting promoted right out the window. You have to be able to meet and sustain the standards in order to enforce them.
So...I had to do something and do it quick. I was like okay... let me use a life line: FACEBOOK. So I asked my friends "how can I lose weight fast?" I used my other lifeline: GOOGLE. And it came up with so much stuff.. The water fast... ummmm... I'm sorry, I'm not starving myself I like to eat toooooo much for that madness. And there were other fasts that I couldn't get with. I don't like lemon so lemon anything was out of the question. So my friend was like "I just started selling Advocare" I was like, "Ok. Let me buy that." Okay... BTW, I was what they call TDY, temporary duty station. I was in Arlington, VA and I was making a good amount of extra money every month. SO DON'T BELIEVE THAT THE ARMY PAYS ALL THAT WELL... anyways... I went ahead and I bought it. And I'm not saying it doesn't work but it was a lot of pills and I didn't do my research. I'm not a pill taker like that and I can't see myself taking all those damn pills. I did not like the shakes and I ended up giving it away. AGAIN... I'M NOT SAYING IT DOESN'T WORK. But I wasted like 200 something dollars
on something I didn't do my research on.
The next friend of mine said hey I sell Beach Body. I was like okay, let me buy that! I bought it and again, lots of pills then you had to go grocery shopping and cook these meals. I was staying at a hotel and I didn't have the time to cook anyways so needless to say, I really didn't do that. I took the pills for a little while but again, not for me.
By this time it is the end of March early April. I'm going through a crisis. First of all, someone had stolen my beautiful dog Chloe on Easter Sunday. Next I really need to lose this weight before I get back to my home station and take a real pt test. And third, I found out that I had gotten passed over for promotion. I'm angry and sad at the same time. Well my cousin calls me out the blue, "Hey Fee, have you heard of that crazy wrap thing?" I said no. She says it will tone, firm, and tighten your skin. You might lose inches off your waist to help you with tape. I'm like okay let me get one. She is reluctant to send me one because first off, I'm not saying buy. (FAMILY IS THE WORST!! Including me, I know my faults, don't judge me!) So I tell her I've already spent so much money with these other companies, I don't really have it like that, and blah blah blah and whooptie whoop. She says okay. She sends me one and I try it. I saw a really big difference!! So she calls me back a week later asking if I received the wrap and how did I like it. (AGAIN, FAMILY IS THE WORST!!) I said, I'm not sure... can you send another to make sure I even did it right. (Seriously, don't judge me). She sends another and I use it and I am really amazed by the results. So I'm like yep, sign me up as a loyal customer FOR LIFE. She tells me I'm going to do you one better, how about you become a distributor and you get your wraps at a discount FOR LIFE. I laughed at the time but honestly she had a point. I loved the product and I could sell to people that had the same issue as me. The only thing was I didn't know about the other products.
Now I know you don't know me, but I can not and will not put my name behind something I do not believe in. I have my own photography business as well and I do not need someone talking smack about me and it getting over to my photography clients or vice versa. That is all bad. If you're selling something you want to back your product up 100%. If people think you are a crook you will get no business EVER! Word of mouth is detrimental to EVERYTHING! So I had to do my research. It so happened that I was watching tv (I barely ever watch tv) and Dr. Oz was on. He was talking about cambogia garcinia as I was going through the products from It Works, how about on the fat fighters ingredients it says clear as day, cambogia garcinia. I was like OK... and so I proceeded to watch the show and half of what he was explaining to use for weight loss was in the products that It Works Global had. I was amazed. So I decided to do an ingredient comparison between companies. After my ingredient comparison I did a price comparison. I would tell you what I found, but stop being lazy and compare them all on your own. LOL.. :) That's your homework for tonight.
Well long story short, (don't you hate that after someone's said/written a novel?) I joined the It Works Global family and I really enjoy it. Feel free to ask me anything about it. Well anyways, I have to go cook for my fiancé.
